The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 24, 1983
     Loral Everett Drury, 77, a resident of Olympia, Wash., and a former 
resident of The Dalles, died Feb. 18, in Olympia.
     Mr. Drury was born April 25, 1905 in Herdland, Mo.
     He lived in The Dalles from 1944 until 1980 and retired from Union 
Pacific Railroad.  He moved to Olympia in 1980.  He was a member of the 
Brotherhood of Rights of Way.
     Survivors include Lucy E. Drury, Olympia; a son, David Robert Drury, The 
Dalles; two daughters, Alba Cook and Betty Ervin, The Dalles and nine 
grandchildren.
     Private burial was at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery with Rev. Byron Clark 
officiating and under the direction of Smith Callaway Chapel.
