The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 16, 1984
     Marilyn Allene Driver, known to her many friends as "Billie," passed away 
at the family farm near Wamic just before dawn on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.  
Mrs. Driver died after a four year battle with cancer.  At her bedside were 
her husband, Lyle, and three children, Lisa, Bill, and Holly, and Ferol Elam 
of Wamic.

     Other family members include her mother, Doris Maurer, and aunt, Mattie 
Fulton, both of The Dalles; her sister, Marilee Lazaris, nephew, Spyros 
Lazaris, niece, Evyeni Lazaris, and brother-in-law, Angelos Lazaris, all of 
Athens, Greece; daughter-in-law, Ellen Prouty; grandchildren, Jessica and 
Samuel of Portland; and son-in-law, Don Dineen of Vancouver, as well as 
numerous cousins.

     A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m. in the Wamic 
Community Church.

    The family requests remembrances be made in the form of donations to the 
Wamic Community Church Building Fund, Wamic, OR 97063.  Arrangements are in 
care of Smith Callaway Chapel.
