The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 7, 1982
     Maurice Creighton Doak, 73, a former resident of The Dalles, and a 
resident of Seattle, died April 30 in Seattle.
     He was born in The Dalles Nov. 2, 1908.
     Mr. Doak graduated from The Dalles High School in 1927, and later from 
the University of Oregon with a degree in pharmacy.  He worked in the Pacific 
Northwest until retiring eight years ago.
     Survivors include his wife, Mary Doak; a son, Thomas Doak, and two 
grandchildren, Tracy and Ryan Doak, all of Seattle; and several cousins 
including Clair, Hugh and F. S. Creighton, all of The Dalles.
     Graveside funeral services were Wednesday at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.  
Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials are suggested to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, 
1124 Columbia St., Seattle, Wash., 98104.
