The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 17, 1983
     Carolyn Sharp Dean, 82, who spent her childhood in the Fifteenmile area 
near The Dalles, died Monday in a Eugene nursing home.
     She also lived in Leaburg and Portland for many years.
     Survivors include her husband, George Dean, Leaburg; a son, William 
Davies, Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Mary Carolyn Kilpack, Santa Rosa, 
Calif., and five grandchildren.
     Funeral services were yesterday in Eugene.  Burial was at the IOOF 
Cemetery.
