The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 9, 1983
     Zella Mary Dayley, 84, a resident of The Dalles for 35 years, died 
Saturday at the hospital.
     She was born July 17, 1898 in Kansas.
     Mrs. Dayley worked for many years at Diamond Fruit in Hood River.  She 
was a member of The Latter Day Saints Church and Teamsters Union. 
     Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Frazier, Weiser, Idaho; seven 
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Her husband, William, died in 
October of 1977.
    Funeral services were Tuesday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home and 
burial was at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.
