The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 6, 1984
Bertha M. Dawkins, died Aug. 31, at a Portland hospital.  Whe was a resident 
of The Dalles since 1946.

She was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Oklahoma.

She has been active in the Pentacostal Church of God in The Dalles.

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie L., The Dalles; a son, Doyle Lee 
Dawkins, The Dalles; a daughter, Luetta Barrier, The Dalles; four 
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother Stella Kincaid; three 
brothers, Bill Kincaid, Toppenish, Wash.; Ross Everett Kincaid, and Melvin 
Kincaid, both of Buena, Wash.; a sister Betty Jo Wibble, Zillah, Wash.; and 
several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Wednesday at Smith Callaway Chapel with pastor Don Puddy 
of the Lyle Faith Center officiating.  Burial services were at The Dalles IOOF 
Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers were Lonnie and Edmond Dawkins, Ted Barrier, Bart and Stan 
Dawkins and Bill Bryam.
