The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 7, 1983
     Erma Davis, 82, a resident of The Dalles for three years and formerly a 
resident of Beaverton, died Tuesday at the hospital.
     She was born in Scott City, Kan. on June 23, 1901.
     Survivors include her husband, Ben E., The Dalles, whom she married in 
Pueblo, Calif., on Sept. 1, 1925; a daughter, Donna L. Koch, The Dalles; two 
grandsons, Pete and R. B. Koch, both of Portland; and three brothers Gerald 
Rector, Los Angeles; Kenneth Rector, Topeka, Kan. and Merwin Rector, Scott 
City, Kan.
     Graveside funeral services are 2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at The Dalles 
IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Thornton Gapan, officiating.  Spencer, Libby $ 
Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials may be made to charities.
