The Dalles Weekly Reminder, October 11, 1984
     Arthur E. Dalzell, 77, died Oct. 5, at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.  He 
was a former resident of The Dalles, Culver and Morrow County.
     He was born in Ione on Feb. 25, 1907.
     He was a member of Cherry Park Grange in The Dalles, the Knights of 
Pythias and the Condon Elks.
     Survivors include his wife, Irene, in The Dalles; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde 
(Wilda) Crawford, Eugene; four grandsons, Neil Crawford, Seeley Lake, Mont.; 
Thomas Crawford, West Richland, Wash.; Perry Arthur Crawford, Eugene; and 
Arthur Elwin Drobny, DeBrogia, Mont.; a granddaughter, Lori Crawford, Eugene; 
a great-granddaughter, Katherine Crawford, West Richland; and a nephew, Dallas 
Dalzell, Condon.  A daughter, Wilma Drobny, died in 1982.
     Funeral services were Tuesday at Smith Callaway Chapel.  Mausoleum 
entombment was at the Condon Cemetery Mausoleum.  The Condon Elks Lodge #1869 
officiated at that service.
