The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 9, 1984
     Katherine Myrtle Crytzer, 74, a resident of Dufur for the past 10 years, 
died Saturday at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.

     She was born Oct. 24, 1909 in Parkersburg, W. Va.

     Survivors include her husband, Dent A., Dufur, a son, Dan, Anchorage, 
Alaska; a daughter, Karen, Grass Valley, Calif., and a granddaughter.

     At her request, no funeral services were performed.  Private cremation 
was in Portland.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

     Memorials are suggested to the Dufur Ambulance Fund.
