The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 15, 1983
     Harvey Theodore Covert, 81, a lifelong resident of The Dalles area, died 
Monday in The Dalles.
     He was born in Endersby June 19, 1902.
     Mr. Covert married Marie Frances Doyle in Goldendale, Wash., Oct. 16, 
1926.
     He farmed in the Dufur area until moving to The Dalles about 30 years ago.
     Survivors include his wife, Marie, The Dalles; two daughters, Ginny 
Covert, The Dalles, and Betty Watkins, Portland; two grandsons, Richard 
Covert, The Dalles, and Charles Watkins, Portland, one granddaughter, Sandra 
Hayden, Eugene; three great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons; and a 
brother George Covert, The Dalles.
     Graveside services were today (Thursday) at The Dalles Odd Fellows 
Cemetery.
     Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
     Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
