The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 30, 1983
     Robert Thomas Cook, 77, a resident of Maupin for the past 30 years, died 
Wednesday in a Bend hospital.
     Mr. Cook was born Feb. 16, 1906 in Warsaw, Ind.
     Mr. Cook was a member of the Catholic Church.
     Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Cook, Maupin, who he married April 
3, 1941, in Warsaw; one son, Willis Dean Cook, and two daughters, Sharon 
Harmon and Holly Barber, Maupin; five grandsons, three granddaughters, and one 
great-granddaughter.
     Two sons, Richard and Willard, died earlier.
     Graveside funeral services were Saturday at Kelly Cemetery in Maupin with 
the Rev. Larry Kirby officiating.  Memorials are suggested to the Southern 
Wasco County Ambulance Fund.  Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
