The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 8, 1982
     Kenneth L. Conner, 32, of Tygh Valley, died Jan. 4 at The Dalles General 
Hospital.
     He was born at Forest Grove on Aug. 2, 1949 and was a veteran of the 
Vietnam War.
     Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, Tygh Valley; two children, Autumn 
and Kurtis, both of Tygh Valley; six step-children, Daphne Perez and Kenneth 
Perez both of Tygh Valley, Isis Perez, Denver, Colo., Marilina Elzey, Cathleen 
Elzey and Marvin Elzey, all of Tygh Valley; his step-father, William Mishey, 
Tygh Valley; his step-mother, Barbara Conner, Maupin; three brothers, Ronald 
Conner, Madras, Ed and Rodney Conner, both of Maupin; three sisters, Shirley 
Tolentino, Metolius; Charla and Carla Conner, both of Maupin; a step-brother 
William Mishey, Newport; and step-sister, Kay Zetek, Redmond.
     Funeral services were held yesterday at Smith Callaway Chapel with Rev. 
Roger Weeks officiating.  Private burial followed at The Dalles IOOF Parklawn 
Cemetery in the veteran's section.
     Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
