The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 12, 1987
Donald Robert Comer, 84, died at his home in The Dalles June 2.  He was a 
resident of The Dalles since 1974

Mr. Comer was born Nov. 18, 1902, in Ladonia, Tex.  He moved to White Salmon 
in 1940 and farmed in that area until moving to The Dalles in 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane, of The Dalles, who he married in 1931; 
one son, Lynn Robert Comer of White Salmon; one daughter, Vicki Irene 
Tresenriter of Olympia; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.  He was 
preceded in death by two sons.

Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home, followed 
by cremation.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
