The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 22, 1984
     Mrs. Frances Kerrone Christianson, 82, died Nov. 14, in Sonora, Calif., 
where she resided for the past three years.  She was a former longtime 
resident of The Dalles and Sherman County.

     She was born Jan. 15, 1902 in Yamhill.

     She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcpal Church in The Dalles.

     Survivors include a son, Bon C. Christianson, Holtville, Calif.; a 
daughter, Diane Stewart, Sonora; a brother, Perry Kelso, Walnut, Calif.; four 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Her husband, Arthur, died in 1963.

     Funeral services were Saturday at Smith Callaway Chapel with the Rev. 
Simpson officiating.  Burial followed at the Moro Cemetery.

     Casketbearers were Bruce Stewart, James Green, Dean Pinkerton, David 
Rouintree, John LaVeille and Calvin McDermid.

     Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or other charities.
