The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 27, 1984
     Iva Grace Christen, 92, died Sept. 23 at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.  
She was a lifelong resident of The Dalles.
     She was born in The Dalles on March 24, 1892.
     She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the St. Peter Altar 
Society, Women of Woodcraft and The Dalles Duplicate Bridge Club.
     Survivors include several nieces and nephews and friends, including Mrs. 
Cecil Colcord, The Dalles.  Her husband, Frederick, died in 1955.
     Graveside funeral services were Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery 
with the Rev. Timothy Mockaitis officiating.  Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral 
Home was in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials may be made to St. Peter Landmark Association, P. O. Box 882, 
The Dalles.
