Tory was 27 and Aleathia was 25. Tory Johannes Christensen was born November 25, 1977, in Portland. Aleathia Alexis Geraldine (Henley) Christensen was born January 6, 1980, in Oregon City. They were childhood sweethearts who married on July12, 2003. Tory worked hard to help Aleathia complete nursing school. Then as a nurse at the Oregon Veterans Home, Aleathia was working to help Tory realize his goal of being a radiological technician. Tory and Aleathia were de-voted to one another and loved their families and friends and were happiest when they were helping others in their times of need. They loved spending time together; camping, gaming and being with their families. The loss of Tory and Aleathia will be felt by all their family and friends. Together they had great heart and a gentle spirit. Aleathia is survived by her mother, Sherrie Carter, Mosier; her sisters and their spouses, Gail and Eddie Mahrer and their children, April, Eddie and Tressa; Cynthia Henley and her children, Robert Christopher and Nicholas, Mosier; Sara Tillitt and her son, David, Vancouver, Wash; Valerie Williams, Roseburg; Crystal Ortwig, Highland Park, ILL; and Robin Henley and Scott Jackson and their children, Elizabeth, Elijah and Timmy, Mosier; her brothers, Francis G. St. Clair, Calif.; Bob Henley, Redmond; Rudy Henley, Portland; Sam Henley, Monterrey, Calif.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Henley and grandparents, Dorothy and Ray Pierce. Tory is survived by his mother Joyce (Mitzel) Christensen, The Dalles; his father, Steven Christensen and HollyYogt, Portland; his brother, Dane Christensen, The Dalles; his sister, Dawn Paul and husband, Matt, Portland; grandmothers, Elizabeth Mitzel, Billings, Mont.; Evelyn Barr, Portland and Betty Christensen, Tigard; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at The Dalles Three Mile Road IOOF Cemetery. Memorial services will beheld at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept.24,at The Dalles Calvary Baptist Church,3350 Columbia View Drive. Remembrances may be made to the Christensen Fund in care of U.S. National Bank.
