She was born Nov. 27, 1964, in Tacoma, Wash., the eldest daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Mary (Quigley) Cassidy. She graduated from Evergreen High School in Vancouver and had attended Portland State University Business School and Marylhurst College. She won the title of Miss Tri-County of Portland and represented the latter district in the Miss Oregon Pageant in 1985. She was employed as a sales representative for Cellular One for the past seven years. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Cassidy; her sister, Lynda Feld and husband, James, Newberg; a brother, Mark, Seattle; two uncles, Fr. Martin Quigley of The Dalles and Kevin Quigley of Ireland; an aunt, Shelia and her husband, Douglas Sullivan, Bellevue, Wash.; a nephew and niece, Jeremy and Gabrielle Feld of Newberg; cousins and friends. Recitation of the Rosary will be at St. Peter Catholic Church in The Dalles at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 with Rev. Martin Quigley and Rev. Ronald Maag as celebrants. Interment will be at The Dalles St. Peter Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s School Foundation or charity of choice, sent in care of Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home, 1100 Kelly Ave., The Dalles, OR 97058.
