The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 21, 1987
Margaret L. Camargo, 56, died in The Dalles Aug. 15.  She was a resident of 
Wasco.

Mrs. Camargo was born Nov. 12, 1931 in Santa Barbara, Calif.  She lived in 
this area for 26 years, at Olex, Condon, Moro and Wasco.  She and her husband, 
Ernest, were married for 37 years.

She is survivied by her husband, Ernest T. Camargo of Wasco; daughters, Donna 
Melzer of Wasco and Susie Camargo Smith of Ion, Wash.; four sons, Roy of 
Colville, Wash., Ray of Reno, David of Wasco and Tim of Renton, Wash.; ten 
grandchildren; three brother; two sisters, numerous nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the rosary and mass of Christian burial were held at St. Mary's 
Catholic Church in Wasco.  Interment followed at Wasco Sunrise Cemetery 
officiated by Rev. William S. Stone.  Pallbearers were Greg Gosson, Marty 
McQuain, Rod McGuire, Gary Griffith, John Hall and Brad Shannon.

Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
