The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 8, 1987
Dorothy Bean, 68, died May 3, 1987 at a local nursing home.  She was a 
resident of The Dalles for 30 years.

Ms. Bean was born in Guide Rock, Neb., May 7, 1918.

She is survived by a sister, Vivian Davis of Concord, Calif.; brothers, Hugh 
Bean of Nobelville, Indiana and Thomas C. Bean of Butte Falls, Ore.; several 
nieces and nephews.  Memorial services were held at Valle Vista Care Center.  
Private interment will be at Pilot Butte Cemetery in Bend, Ore.

Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
