The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 29, 1982
     Marian E. Barone, 67, a resident of Chula Vista, Calif. for the past six 
months, died Jan. 20.
     She was a former resident of The Dalles, Hermiston and Portland.
     She was born Oct. 18, 1914 in Saco, Mont.
     Mrs. Barone was a member of The Eastern Star and the Lutheran Church.
     Survivors include a daughter, Lora McClain; a granddaughter, Elizabeth 
McClain and two grandsons, Irwin McClain Jr. and Coleen McClain, all of 
Corbett; four sisters, Lillian Jendro, Chula Vista; Myrtle Meir, Edmonton, 
Alberta; Edna Goeddertz, Big Fork, Mont., and Joan Northcutt in California; 
and two brothers, Frank Martin, Malta, Mont., and Allen Martin, Ground Birch, 
B.C.
     Funeral services were Jan. 26 at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home 
with private burial services following at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.
     Memorials may be made to the Oregon Cancer Fund.
