The Dalles Chronicle, January 20, 2004
     Kyle Lance Barajas, 2, a resident of Rufus, died at a Portland hospital 
on Monday, January 5, 2004.
     He was born in The Dalles as the “New Years Baby,” Jan. 1, 2002. He is 
survived by his mother, Cristina Barajas; his “Daddy,” Nick Bremer, both of 
Rufus; grandmother, Cheryl Lee Wason, Rufus; great-grandmother, Edna Wason, 
Salem; uncles, Cory John, The Dalles and Antonio Barajas, Rufus; cousin, Derek 
John, Rufus; extended family, Juan Sedano, Rufus; Caryl DeLucca, Salem; Cindy 
Wason and her husband, Bill Ortega and their daughters, Jessica and Connie, 
all of Salem; Karen and Dave Cunningham and their children, Katie, David and 
Chelsea, all of Grass Valley; Craig and Alicia Wason and their daughter, 
Mikalya, all of Phoenix, Ariz.
     Funeral services will be held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home 
on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at The Dalles 18th 
Street IOOF Cemetery. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home are in care of 
arrangements.
     Memorials may be made in care of Kyle Barajas, Columbia River Bank, 316 E 
3rd St., The Dalles, OR 97058.
