The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 15, 1984
     Florence F. Ball, 72, died Nov. 10 at a local nursing home.  She was a 
lifelong resident of Wasco County.
     She was born on Eightmile near The Dalles on March 11, 1912 to Alfred and 
Bessie Ferguson.
     Mrs. Ball was active in the Meals on Wheels and Senior Citizens programs.
     Survivors include two sons, John, Portland, and Dean, Wenatchee, Wash.; 
four grandchildren, Jeanette, Oxnard, Calif.; John, Wenatchee; Brian and Brad, 
both of Portland; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Ferguson, The 
Dalles.
     Funeral services were at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home Tuesday.  
Burial followed at Parklawn Cemetery.
     Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
