He was born to Richard and Sandy Badham on June 30, 1968 in Puyallup, Wash. He spent the majority of his 37 years living in Puyallup, attending Fruitland Elememtary, Kalles Jr. High and Rogers High School (1987). He was well known for his love for soccer. He played for Pierce and Bellevue Community Colleges as well as Whitworth University. He also shared his soccer skills by coaching for Rogers High School, Fife High School and Skyhawks Soccer Camps, impacting the lives of hundreds of local youth. An Adidas tattoo adorned his right arm. Hiking, racing and blazing bonfires were a few of the activities that fueled his inner child. He was an employee for over 15 years in many roles at Milgard in Fife, Wash. He was dedicated to his family. He and his wife Julie spent 14 years of marriage creating a lifetime of memories. He loved his children, MacKenzie and Nathan. He is survived by his in-laws Jim and Annette Hazlett, godmother Carol Lincoln; aunts and uncles Bob and Jar Badham, Carolyn Thompson, Larry and Judi Miller; cousins Todd, Doug, Kent, Courtney and their families, along with many friends. Special appreciation and gratitude to the University of Washington Medical Center, Dr. Daniel Silbergeld, Dr. Alexander Spence, their staff, as well as the nursing teams in ICU and 4 NE, along with Dr. Randy Sorum, as well as everyone at Good Samaritan Home Health and Hospice. A memorial service and celebration of Britt’s life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m., at Calvary Community Church, 15116 Gary Street, Sumner, WA (253) 863-3352. To continue his passion for the game, donations of regulation sized (3, 4,or 5) soccer balls will be collected in his memory as a gift to the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA). Soccer balls can be delivered to Calvary Community Church or brought the day of the service.
