     Frances F. Arnold, 91, died Sept. 7 2004.
     She was born July 11, 1913, in Merna, Neb. She graduated from Illinois 
Wesleyan University. She was a homemaker who lived in the Portland area for 
more than 50 years. In 1937, she married Loyd.
     Survivors include her husband; son, Ron; sister, Dorothy Roth; and three 
grandchildren.
     Remembrances may be made to the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation. 
Arrangements are by Caldwell’s Colonial.
