The Dalles Chronicle, July 22, 2005
     Frances Marie Berki Anglin, 81, of Buhl, Idaho, and a former resident of 
The Dalles died Sunday, July 17, 2005.
     She was born March 25, 1924 in Portland, but was reared and educated in 
The Dalles. 
     She graduated from highschool in 1942 and had been a Rainbow Girl.
     She worked as a secretary at the Chamber of Commerce in The Dalles for 
many years until her retirement.
     She married William Berki in The Dalles, and he preceded her in death. 
She later married Al Anglin in 1992 in Hood River. Together they traveled 
extensively around the US, and even lived on a boat in the San Diego area for 
a time. 
     In 1999 they moved to Buhl, where she has since resided. She played 
competitive bridge, and was a member of the Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene.
     She is survived by her husband, Al Anglin of Buhl; four children: Mike 
Berki, Houston, Texas; Steve (Pam) Berki, Omaha, Neb.; John Berki, Portland; 
Carolyn Oviatt, Pullman, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and one 
brother.
     Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 23 at the 
Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jerry Kester, officiating.      
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the 
IOOF Cemetery in The Dalles with Pastor Dorthy Nielsen, officiating.
     The family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church, 101 W. 10th, The 
Dalles for Lutheran Church Youth Christian Education. 
     Family and friends are all invited to a time of food and fellowship at 
Zion Lutheran immediately following the graveside service.
