The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 28, 1984
     Memorial services for Harold A. "Rusty" Adams, Jr., 21, Biggs were 
Saturday in the Rufus Community Baptist Church.  Rev. Truett Allen officiated.

     Adams was reported missing June 12, following an accident on the 
deschutes River when he and companions were going through Moody Rapids without 
life jackets.  Adams was last seen clinging to a rock after he was thrown from 
his innertube by the turbulent water.

     His body was discovered Sunday in the Columbia River approximately one 
mile west of the railroad bridge near milepost 93.

     Survivors include his wife, Denise, and two children, Harold Allen Adams 
III and Christina Renee Adams, all of Biggs Junction; his mother, Gloria 
Donaldson; a brother, Toby Adams; two sisters, Sheila Curtiss and Deliea 
Adams; step-father, Harry Donaldson; step-brother, David Donaldson; step-
sister, Chrissy Donaldson; nieces and nephews.
