The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 14, 1987
Dorothy Viola Adams, 71, died Aug. 9 at a local nursing home.  She was a 
former resident of The Dalles, living in Pasco, Wash.

Mrs. Adams was born March 22, 1916 in Marvin, S.D.  She lived in The Dalles 
from 1961 to 1968 before moving to Pasco.  She was a member of the Catholic 
Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1976.

She is survived by a daughter, Clarice Koch of The Dalles; three sons, Jim of 
Walnut Creek, Calif., Joe of Mountain View, Calif., and Frank of Pasco; three 
grandchildren, Jim and Brian Koch of The Dalles and Jacque Adams of Walnut 
Creek; two brothers.

Recitation of the Rosary and the funeral service were both held at Spencer, 
Libby and Powell Funeral Home.  The Rev. Ronald Maag officiated and burial 
followed at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
