Mr. Larison was born June 10, 1923, in Gracemont, Okla., to Robert Millard and Floy Nell Larison. He graduated from Washita High School at Washita, Okla., with the class of 1940. He served with the 234th Army Air Force Base unit during World War II. On Sept. 22, 1946, he married Anna M. Sandford at Grand Coulee, Wash. He worked for Morrison Knutson Construction Company before moving to La Grande in 1955 and built and started the Nells-N-Out drive-in restaurant at 1704 1/2 Adams Ave. Mr. Larison was a member of the First Christian Church, Eastern Oregon Mining Association, National Rifle Association and National Federation of Independent Businessmen. Survivors include his wife Anna in La Grande; sons, Robert of La Grande and Larry W. of Hillsboro; brother Ralph W. of Port Angeles; aunts, Helen Chapman of Alex, Okla., and Nellie Campbell of De Leon, Texas, and other relatives. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel with Jack Hart of the First Christian Church officiating. A private family concluding service will be held later.
