John Spencer Larison
     
John Larison of 1808 Walnut, died Sunday, July 6, at Grande Ronde Hospital.
He was 72.

Mr. Larison was born Sept. 18, 1907 at Baker, the son of Glen L. and Mildred F. 
(Sally) Larison.  He moved to La Grande from Baker in 1912.
     
On Sept. 28, 1929 he was married to Emmy L. Knotts at El Paso, Texas.
     
Mr. Larison was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church of La Grande and La 
Grande Elks Lodge #433.
     
Survivors include his wife of La Grande; sons, John F. of Alexandria, Va.; Craig 
J. of La Grande; and two grandchildren.
     
Cremation and private family services will be held later under the direction of 
Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel.
