Miller has been rational for only a few moments at a time, but during the times when he seems unconscious to his surroundings he writes the Pittman system of shorthand perfectly and raidly, uses the best of language and shows good education. How he came so down in life is unknown as most of his past seems a blank to him.He says he has been connected with some of the leading Pacific Coast papers.
