Loses One Leg And May Lose His Life By Accident
The Dalles,Or.,Nov.8,-(Special)- A.Walford,a farmer on the line of the 
Columbia Southern road, was run over by an engine this afternoon near Biggs 
station.One leg was cut in half and the other severely injured. He was broght 
to the hospital in this city tonight,where he is reported in a critical 
condition.
Walford is a resident of Shaniko, where he has a wife and child.
