Mrs peck Laid To rest In Yoder Cemetary Teus.
Funeral services for the late Spohia M.peck,wife of J.E Peck,who died at the 
home of her brother,I.B hein,near this city Sunday night,were held ffrom the 
Canby M.E Church,Tuesday morning,Rev W.Boyd Moore,officiating.Internment was 
in Yoder Cemetary near Needy.Holam and Pace ,of Oregon City ,had charge of the 
funeral arrangements.
Sophia M Hein was born December 25,1871,and at the time of her death was over 
51 years of age.She was united in marriage to J.E Peck on December 25,1899.She 
untied with the Christain church in Illinois whne 19 year sof age,being a 
faithful member since and was a member of the First Christian Church of Salem 
at the time of her death.
Mr and Mrs Peck were former residents of this city,Mr Peck being associated 
with J.J.Sandsness in the real estate business for some time.They have been 
making their home  at Redmond,coming her just recently on account of the 
illness of mrs peck,and were staying at the home of Mrs pecks brother,I.B Hein 
and family
