Early Settler Passes Away At Brownsville
Dr.R.I.Garrett and son,Rile,went to Brownsville one day last week to attend 
the funeral of the ormer's uncle,J.W.Moore,who passed away at his home in that 
vicinity at the age of 88 years.He had lived in Oregon  since 1852,and was 
engaged ini the development of miines in the early history of Oregon,having 
discovered the great Lucky Boy Mine.Mr.Moore formerly lived in this part of 
the state and was well known by many of the older settlers of Clackams county.
