Builder dies North of Town Wilsonville,March 2-In the death at his home of Henry Watson Holden ,one mile north of Wilsonville last night,the state loses one of its old time residents and a railroad contractor and a builder of many years experience.Mr Holden,up unitl six months ago,when he suffered heart trouble,which brought about his death,had been active and especially so for one o fhis advanced years,being 81 years,six months and seven days old.He was born in New Hampshire,but came west a good many years ago.Mr.Holden built the Eugene street railway system,and will be buried in that city,the remains being shipped there from the undertaking establishment of Holman&Pace,in Oregon City.The only known surviving relatives are two sons,Harry,engaged in the restuarant business in San Fransisco,and Charley,a hop buyer in Portland File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/or/statewide/obits/h/holden2150gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/orfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
