Funeral services Held For Mrs Mary J Haines.
Mrs Maryu J.Haines,was born onNovember 6th,1849 in Jackson County,Ohioo,where 
she spent her earlier life.She was married on November 10th,1868 to John C 
Haines in Lawrence County,Ohio,and after living in Lawrence county for 13 
years they decided to come West and settled at Oswego,where they lived happily 
unitl the death of Mr Haines,which occurred in January 1919.Mrs Haines them 
moved to Canby where she made her home with her son Clarence
Mrs Mary Jane Haines died Wednesday,April 2,after a two weeks illness.The 
funeral services were held at the Oswego Methodist Church and the remains were 
laid to rest in the family lot at the Oswego cemetary,Saturday,April 
5,1924.Rev W.Boyd Moore of this city assisted by Rev Kester of the Molalla 
Methodist church officiated.
Surviving Mrs haines are the following children: Mrs G.W White,of Canby;Mr M 
Reif ,of Oswego;Mrs C.A Bethke,Mrs D,H Bussard,and Mrs Pearl Coon of 
Portland,Clarence Haines of Canby;John Haines of Oswego;Charles Haines of Port 
Angeles,Wash.;Wesley Haines of hebo,Ore;and Roy Haines of 
Portland,oregon.Besides forty grandchildren and;eleven great grandchildren;one 
sister in new York City;and two brothers,one in Oswego and one in Florida.
