Phil Greaves Laid To rest At Aurora
Old time resident dies from injuries sustained in auto accident here
Funeral services for the late Phil Greaves,of Macksberg,who died at the Oregon 
City Hospital Saturday morning from concussion of the brain caused in a auto 
accident in this city Saturday,July 28th,were held from the family home in 
Macksberg,Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock,th I.O.O.F lodge of which the deceased 
was a member having charge of the services.Internment was in the Aurora 
cemetary.
Phillip Greaves was born in Missouri,1847,and was a veteran of the Civil 
War.For over 40 years he has resided in Clackamas County,engaging in farming 
during that time in Macksberg country.he was a member of the I.O.O.F lodge for 
over forty years.
He is survived by his widow and the following children :Ray Greaves,of 
Hamilton,Oregon;Dan Greaves,of Mulino;Mrs harry Boyles,of Portland;Mrs Eva 
Harthan od maupon,Oregon
