Mrs.Joseph Aernt,68,died at her home in Talbot,Marion county,April 
26.Mrs.Aernt was born in March 31,1860 in Switzerland and came to the United 
States at the age of 16.She was a resident of Osewgo for sevewn years and 
moved to Talbot in March.Funeral services were held at Albany at the Baptist 
church  Saturday.Rev.H.A.Slaughter,Protestant pastor of the Church of God was 
assisited by Rev.W.P.Osgood of Albany in conducting the services.
Mr.Aernt and 12 children survive.The children are: Mrs. C.H.Pearson,Trout 
Lake,Wash.:Mrs.John Henke,Mrs.Ellen Smith,and Mrs. G.E.Frey,all of 
Portland;Mrs.E.F.Weede,Albany;Mrs.G.H.CLark,Bend;Miss Lydia 
Aernt,Stockton,Cal.;Ernest and Carl Aernt and Mrs.Louise 
B.Smith,Talbot,;Clarence Aernt,Bend;and Mrs.Charles H.Whittaker,San 
Bernadino,Cal.
