The little chap had been left by his mother when she departed in frantic haste to reach her husband, and was under the care of the landlady where the family lived, at 668 Glisan street. The landlady had duties to attend to and left the boy by himself long enough for him to get into mischief. He found a small vial of carbolic acid and drank from it. Dr.J.J. Fisher was called and tried the usual remedies, but the case was hopeless. The mother was telegraphed last night, but it is not known whether the news of her son's death will reach her before she is standing by the deathbed of her husband File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/or/multnomah/obits/l/leroy3742gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/orfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
