funeral of Sergeant Lautenschlaeger- The funeral of Sergeant George 
Latenchlaeger,of Company G.,Second Oregon, wa sheld yesterday at Dunniing's 
chapel, 414 East Alder street,. rev. W.S. Gilbert, ex chaplain, conducted a 
touching service. Many of the comrades of the dead volunteer were present, 
including the ocmmander of the Second Oregon Regiment, Colonel Owen Summers. 
Floral tributes from friends were beautiful. The casket was draped with an 
American flag. The internment as in Riverview Cemetary, where military honors 
were given. A father, brother and three sisters survive him.He contracted 
consumption in the Phillipine Islands
