Kuntz was one of the best known farmers in this section of the country.He was bound for this city when the accident befell him. H ehad a load of pumpkins for the Portland market.He did not see the freight train approaching in time to avoid the collision,and subsequent injury to himself and harses. Both animals were so badlt injured they had to be shot. Kuntz was removed to St.Vincent's Hospital,where he was attended by Dr. Wiiliam Jones,who said death resulted from a clot of blood that formed ono her brain.
