Death of Mr.H.A.Keinath- The many friends of Mr.Keinath and family were 
grieved to hear of his death,which occurred at his Summer home,at Ocean 
Park,Wash.,Wednesday morning,August 31. He was stricken with paralysis two 
years ago,from which he never recovered.Mr.Keinath came to Portland from San 
Jose in 1885,being identified here in business circles in the grocery firm of 
Keinath & Clarke,and the Portland Coffee and Spice Mills. He lived a quiet and 
unpretentious life,but had gained the respect of all who knew him.Since his 
sickness his voice has been missed from among the Vetran Quartet,in which he 
has sung since its organization. He had been a member of Taylor street 
Methodist Church since 1885.Mr.Keinath leaves a widow,a son,A.C.Keinath,of 
Newton,Iowa, and tow daughters,Mrs.A.L.Clarke and Mrs.Mabel Conant.
