Mrs.Johnson,mother of Mrs.Charles Anderson,died at her daughter's 
residence,ini Upper Alnina,Tuesday night after a long and painful 
illness.Mrs.Johnson formerly resided at The Dalles.Her husband died some time 
ago,and she had been living with her daughter in Albine ever since.She has 
been afflicted with dropsy for many years,suffering almost constantly.The 
remains were taken to The Dalles last night for internment by the side of her 
husband.
