She was married to her husband,Webster Jenkins,who survives her,at Estherville,ia.,March 7,1868.Four sons were born to this union,who were all at her side when she passed away.Besides her husband and osns she leaves an aged mother,75 years old,one brother and two sisters,and many other relatives and friends to mourn her death. Rev.G.W. Plumer,pastor of the First English Evangelical Church,conducted the funeral services both at her late home in Portland,at 2:30 P.M. and at Martin's Bluff yesterday at 1 P.M. At the latter place her body was interred. Mrs. Jenkins lived with her family at martin's Bluffs,Wash. for ten years,and in Portland since 1884.She was a member of the Order of Washington.There were many floral tributes to her moeny as a devoted wife and mother.
