Death of a Pioneer Woman
Penleton,Feb 21-Mrs.Mary Isacc,aged 87 years,died at 3 o'clock this afternoon 
at the home of her daughter,Mrs.A.M.Ladow,in this city.She crossed the plains 
with her husband and children in 1858,and settled in Umaatilla county.She 
leaves behind her husband,six children,all well along in years.They are 
captain Isaac,noe the postmaster at Helix;Mrs.W.C.Ladow,Mrs.Mattie 
ladow,Aaron,William,and Charles Isaac.She was a christian woman and known to 
all old sttlers.
