He had secured the drug at a local drug store, and asked directions for its uses for intestinal trouble. He had prabably been taking the laudamum in small doses for days,not realizing the danger. It was noticed during the day that he acted queerly.He was finally taken charge of and physicians summoned,but they were unable to save his life.He was about 65 years old,and has two sons living at Oakland,California.
