Harder May Have Been Murdered
Vancouver,B.C.,Nov 2-Aman who passed under the name of the W.P.Herder,alias 
Harper,who came here from Portland some months ago,and was arrested at the 
request of the Portland police,but was subsequently released,has been found 
dead at Nanaimo.The theory of suicide is not accepted by the police and murder 
is suspected.
(W.P. Herder was suspected of having approriated money belonging to the 
Providence Savings and Life Company,by whom he was employed in this cty.It is 
understood the alleged shortage was made good.
