Three Were Killed
Fearfully Fatal Accidnet On An East Side Railway
Sixteeen Passengers Were Injured
The Car Became Unmanageable,When It Dashed Down A Grade And Was Upset.
Three person were instantly killed and sixteen received seriuos injuries in 
Portland's latest street railway accident.It occurred at 1:30 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon on the City &Suburban Company's electric line in Upper 
Albina. Car No 46,with about 50 passengers aboard,bacame unmanageable while 
descending a grade on McMillan Street,and overturned when it struck the sharp 
curve at the intersection of that thoroughfare and Lrabee street. The killed 
were:
John O.Dennis,aged 50,a residebnt of Upper Albina,465 Vanocuver avenue.
Beltam Dennis,aged 8,son of J.O. Dennis.
J.T. Johnson,plasterer,aged 26,resident of Upper Albina.
