Mr. Dailey was born in Pennsylvania,October 1,1826, and when a young man moved to Illinois and Iowa. He settled near Garfield, and has been a resident of Palouse County nearly 30 years. Mr. Dailey has raised seen children, who, with his aged wife,survive him. Fifteen grandchildren have been bor, 13 of whom are now living. this is the first death in the Dailey family in 48 years. The following children survive: James E., John L., Hugh J., Richard R., Charles M., and Louisa A, wife of Walter bean and Annie E., wife of William Davis.
