Hoquiam,Wash.,Oct.29-(Special)- Thomas Crothers, an old resident of the 
city,died at 1:30 this morning. he had been sick a long time and suffered the 
third stroke of paralyis, which caused his death.
Mr.Crothers was born in the year 1837 in Londonderry,Ireland. He came to 
America when a young man and settle at Pittsburgh,Pa. There he was married to 
Sara Taylor,who survives him. There are five children living- Mrs. Ben 
Philbrick,Mrs.Theodore Quinn,Sadie and Lilly and one son,William. Mr.Crothers 
and family came here 21 years ago.
