Death of a Pioneer-Mr.Ebenezer C.Clark,an old resident of Moss Hill,six miles 
south of this city,died on Thursday evening at the age of 70 years.Mr.Clark 
was a native of Connecticut and a pioneer of 1853,crossing the plains with the 
late John Stigetrinson,whose daughter he married the following year.After a 
few years residence in Stanislaus Valley,Cal., he returned to Oregon and has 
resided here since.For many years Mr.Clark was teacher in the public schools 
of Multonamh and Clackamas counties.About two years ago he was stricken with 
paralysis,from which he never fully recovered.His wife survives him.
